The Bridal Collection was my first real experience bridal gown shopping since getting engaged. And let me tell you, when I say experience, I mean true experience. There is definitely a reason they have over 800 Google reviews. Their bridal studio is so grand and gorgeous with the most amazing wedding gown collections I have ever seen. Sparkles, lace, ruffles, trains, glitz, glam - you name it, they have it. My sweet sister made me an appointment and our stylist, Jessie, was so cute, fun and helpful.
Since we were getting started pretty early, I didn't really have any expectations for choosing a dress that day. I was looking for a dress that was classic, elegant and fitted. I tried on lots of wedding gowns and realized the three dresses I loved were all from the same designer, Justin Alexander. Right before we were about to wrap up for the day, Jessie pulled a wild-card Justin Alexander dress that I just loved. We had a few other appointments at some other bridal boutiques so she kept all of the style numbers in my personal file. I loved how understanding they were and that I never felt pressured to purchase a gown that day - they truly want to make sure you find the perfect dress, whether that's with them or another boutique. I highly recommend making an appointment with TBC if you're a bride-to-be! They take care of you like no other.
After a few other bridal appointments with other boutiques, I still hadn't had any luck (nor the type of experience we had at TBC). My sister called to tell me that The Bridal Collection was hosting the Justin Alexander trunk so of course we had to make an appointment. I had never experienced a trunk show prior - if you have the chance to, take it! We got to see the newest collection that hadn't even hit stores yet, meet the designer plus discounts, goodies and more.
Another over-the-moon experience! The stylists and managers treat each and every bride-to-be like royalty. They are so helpful, sweet and really know how to translate your vision into reality. I also appreciated the different style of dresses they pulled for me to show me something I probably wouldn't have picked for myself. I put on the original wild-card dress that Jessie had pulled for me during our first appointment and.... in walks Justin, the designer!
It was surreal meeting him while standing in a dress that he designed. I couldn't believe it! He was so kind and we chatted back and forth about the dress while he showed us pictures of the campaign they shot for the collection in Italy... I know right, talk about dreamy.
I was a touch overwhelmed (in a good way) trying to pick between two absolutely amazing Justin Alexander wedding gowns. We were between two venues at the time and one gown would have fit perfectly at both venues, while the other was a great fit for one venue, but not the other... if that makes sense? My sister and I ended up leaving the appointment with the intention to think about the two dresses a little longer. I will forever remember this special experience at The Bridal Collection, meeting Justin, and having my sister and baby nephew by my side.
A special thanks to The Bridal Collection and Olena Films for capturing this memory. My heart is so full!
