Think Pink: A Creative Shoot with Jenni Summers + Lindsay Ambrosio

After connecting with Jenni Summers on Instagram [@jennisummerstudios], I knew I wanted to shoot with her. She has such an amazing, vibrant photography style that highlights fashion so well. Lindsay [@lindsaymakeupmadame], my makeup artist turned bestie, and I met up with Jenni for a shoot at Denver Photo Collective.

This was my first time shooting at Denver Photo Collective, and I have already been back! The studio is seriously so cute. It has lots of natural light and every couple of weeks, the "set" is changed out for something new and extremely instagram-worthy. You can book the studio for an hour or more, starting at just $85. We shot the pink set below just in time for Valentine's Day and had a blast!

If you're looking for makeup for a photoshoot, wedding, night out, or even "just because", Lindsay is my go-to for it all. She's been makeup artist in Denver for over 18 years and has built such a name for herself in the industry - she truly is THE Makeup Madame. She can literally recreate any Pinterest photo you've ever pinned, any celebrity look you've admired, or something completely off the top of her head (or yours!). I am always in awe of her makeup application and passion for the industry. She has been my #1 makeup artist and has turned into one of my very best friends - so naturally, I have to brag about her :) Since Lindsay and I shoot on a regular basis, I truly trust her with my face so I left this look up to her - we went with a moody, natural glam with brown and nude tones.

If you're needing portraits, for fun or for business, Jenni Summers was honestly amazing. You can find her rates here. I hope to work with her again in the near future!

Until next time!

X,

Jenna Mariah

Lindsay on the products she used for this look:

Some of my fave products I used on Jenna:
1. Hoola Bronzer. I love the range of these bronzers and pigment. Very velvety and easy to blend.
2. NYX Micro Brow Pencil. Jenna has incredible brows. I have the capability to add hair like strokes and color to her brows without making them look artificial.
3. My fave lippy on Jenna are nudes. We have definitely come up with her "go-to" signature nude lip. Here we used MAC lip liners in Subculture and Cork, Creme de Nude Mac Lipstick and topped off with a Dose of Colors Gloss.
